01 What we build
Most jobs need more than one trade.
We hold the whole contract — framing, tile, cabinets, stone, concrete, and the electrical and plumbing between them — so you're not refereeing four trades yourself.
01 The house
Structural and interior work, including the permits.
-
Kitchen Remodeling
Full kitchen builds — cabinets, stone, appliances, and the wiring and plumbing behind them.
- Custom and semi-custom cabinetry
- Quartz, quartzite and natural stone counters
- Full-height backsplashes and tile
- Appliance, hood and pot-filler integration
- Electrical, plumbing and permit coordination
-
Bathroom Remodeling
Bathrooms taken back to the studs and rebuilt — waterproofing first, then tile.
- Shower pans, waterproofing and linear drains
- Tile setting — herringbone, mosaic, large format
- Freestanding tubs and floor-mounted fillers
- Frameless glass enclosures
- Vanities, niches and heated floors
-
Home Additions
More square footage, tied into the existing house so it does not read as an add-on.
- Room and primary-suite additions
- Foundation, framing and roof tie-ins
- Matching stucco, siding and rooflines
- Title 24 and structural engineering coordination
- San Jose planning and permit handling
-
Whole-Home Remodels
The whole house at once — one contract, one schedule, one crew you can reach.
- Full gut and rebuild, room by room
- Structural changes and wall removal
- Rewiring, repiping and HVAC replacement
- Windows, doors, flooring and finishes
- Single schedule from demo to walkthrough
-
New Construction & Framing
Ground-up building and the structural work underneath it — squared, plumb and inspected.
- Ground-up custom homes
- Rough framing, shear walls and hardware
- Roof framing, rafters and trusses
- Foundations, slabs and stem walls
- Inspection scheduling and sign-off
-
Custom Millwork & Built-Ins
Built-in cabinetry, shelving and surrounds, made to fit the room they go in.
- Media walls and fireplace surrounds
- Floating shelves with integrated lighting
- Built-in cabinetry and window seats
- Stone and porcelain slab wrapping
- Closets, mudrooms and pantries
02 The ground around it
Grading, drainage and base prep before anything goes down.
-
Outdoor Living & Pergolas
Covered patios, pergolas and the flatwork that connects them to the house.
- Redwood and cedar pergolas
- Covered patios and shade structures
- Patio slabs, walkways and steps
- Outdoor lighting and power
- Exterior doors and slider openings
-
Landscaping
Front and back yards rebuilt from the grade up — soil, drainage, planting and irrigation.
- Grading and yard drainage
- Planting beds, topsoil and mulch
- Trees, shrubs and ground cover
- Drip irrigation and controllers
- Low-voltage landscape lighting
-
Pavers & Hardscape
Paver driveways, patios and walkways — the base under them is the part that lasts.
- Paver driveways rated for vehicle loads
- Patios, walkways and pool decks
- Compacted base and edge restraint
- Soldier-course borders and banding
- Retaining and seat walls
-
Concrete & Flatwork
Driveways, patios, walkways and slabs — formed, reinforced, and jointed so the cracks land in the joints.
- Driveways, patios and walkways
- Patio and shed slabs, stem walls
- Rebar and mesh reinforcement
- Control joints cut on a plan
- Broom, smooth and exposed finishes
-
Artificial Turf
Turf laid over a proper drainage base, so it drains, stays flat and does not need a mower.
- Excavation and compacted drainage base
- Weed barrier and perimeter nailer board
- Seamed, infilled and power-broomed
- Pet-rated turf and deodorising infill
- Putting greens and play areas

02 Our work
Recent jobs around the South Bay.
Every photograph here is our own work — inside the house and out. Filter by trade, or by how far along the job was when we shot it.

No projects match those filters yet.
03 Why us
A new company. Not a new builder.
Legacy4Builders was licensed in July 2026. The hands doing the work have been doing it for 10 years, and every photograph on this site is a job they built. Two different facts, and we would rather you had both.
-
10 years on the tools
The company is new. The experience behind it is not — David has been building kitchens, baths, additions and hardscape in the South Bay for 10 years. The photographs on this site are that work.
-
Free estimates, no chasing
We come out, look at the job, and tell you what it costs. No charge for the visit, and nobody calls you every week afterward.
-
Licensed, bonded, and verifiable
CSLB #1158501, Class B general building, with a $25,000 contractor’s bond. The number is on this page so you can check it yourself before you call.
-
You deal with the owner
David quotes your job and David is on it while it’s built. The person who priced it is the person doing it.
-
One contractor, the whole job
Framing, tile, cabinets, stone, concrete, turf, and the electrical and plumbing coordination between them — all under one contract, so you are not managing four trades.
04 How it works
How a job runs.
Four steps, in order, so you know what happens next and when.
- 01
Walk the job
We come to the house, look at what is actually there, and talk through what you want. Free, and usually within a couple of days of your call.
- 02
Price and permits
You get a written scope and a fixed price, not a range. If the job needs permits or engineered plans, we file for them.
- 03
Build
One crew, a written schedule, and the site cleared at the end of each day. You will know who is coming and when.
- 04
Walkthrough
We walk the finished job with you, fix the punch list, and hand over the warranty, the permits and the paperwork.

06 About
A small company, and the owner is on the job.
Legacy4Builders is run by David Lopez Diaz. He does the estimate, he holds the licence, and he is on site while your job gets built — not just on the invoice at the end of it.
That is the whole pitch. A general building contractor small enough that you always know who is responsible, licensed and bonded so that responsibility means something, and 10 years of work behind the name on the licence.
- Owner-operated by David Lopez Diaz
- 10 years building in the South Bay
- Licensed July 2026 · Class B General Building
- Bonded $25,000 with Nationwide Mutual
07 What customers say
We don’t have reviews to show you yet.
Legacy4Builders was licensed in July 2026 and we’re collecting reviews from our first customers under that name now. We’d rather tell you that than put words in someone else’s mouth.
Until they’re here: the photographs above are all our own work from 10 years of it, the licence number is real and checkable, and David will pick up the phone.
